    "I have been training with Gina for about 6 months. The first work out was an adjustment, but I already knew I had a lot of work to do. Since then, I have lost about 20 pounds and feel a lot stronger and more balanced. My endurance has greatly improved as well as my ability to move in most ways.     "I started coming to Activation Fitness when I had some nagging knee pain. I wanted to get ready for a ski trip and searched on line for something effective and non-invasive. After just a few sessions of MAT, my knees were pain free. It really was a Godsend. I was impressed enough to encourage my mom to start coming. She had several car accidents and had become much less active with increasing pain and tightness. She started with some MAT but now does strength training mostly and has been a regular client for a couple years. It has changed her life and she can now enjoy active exercise and walks regularly without pain for first time in years.     "I have been training and receiving MAT services from Gary Gecas for more than 3 years now. First, I would like to say that Gary is a very reliable individual, so it is easy to keep up with workouts and MAT because you can count on Gary being there. Second, I would like to say that Gary is great about mixing up the workouts and doing different things, so you never get bored by a same old same old kind of routine. Also, as I am getting older, I need to be more careful in terms of preventing injury through the use of proper technique. Gary pays close attention to make sure that I don’t use an incorrect position that might cause injury. Also, he has helped me through a couple of injuries that I suffered outside of our sessions such as shin splints from all the running I used to do. I no longer am suffering from shin splints because we have modified our workouts and I discontinued the strenuous running I was doing as well as regular MAT treatments focusing on the leg, ankle and foot that has really helped. More recently, I have been plagued with a shoulder aggravation that has been helped a lot by our MAT sessions.

    Lastly, one of the great things about working with Gary is his vast knowledge about the human body and how that relates to a workout and MAT. It is very nice to have in one person someone who can give you a safe workout and provide MAT treatments as well. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone whether you are looking for a great personal trainer or someone who can provide MAT; or, as in my case, someone who can provide both specialties and do them both very well."

    "I just came up the hill from swimming in my pool. 5 years ago this was not a big deal, but for the past 4 years I just couldn’t do it without falling and hurting myself. Since MAT with Steve, I can do all sorts of things I couldn’t do for years and had given up doing ever again...like going down to my basement. Couldn’t do stairs. I keep trying to tell everyone I know how well MAT works but they are very skeptical. Obviously my improvement is not enough for them...but my grand kids think it is great since I can swim with them again!
